James P. Fawcett
James P. Fawcett is a former Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing District 65 from 2011 to 2013.
Fawcett began his career in the financial industry in 1971, serving from 1981-2000 as the President and Chief Executive Officer of a financial institution. He completed his financial career as President/CEO of the Peoples National Bank in Clay Center, Kansas. He also served in Vietnam as a Platoon Officer and Company Executive Officer with the 101st Airborne Division, receiving numerous awards, including two Bronze Stars, the Air Medal, and the Combat Infantryman's Badge.
Fawcett graduated from Fort Hays State University with a degree in political science and history.
