James P. Griffin (New York)
James P. Griffin is an acting justice of the Queens County Supreme Court, Criminal Term in the 11th Judicial District of New York. He was appointed to this position in 1998. He has also served as a judge on the New York City Criminal Court since 1986.[1]
Education
Griffin received his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law.[1]
Career
Griffin was appointed judge of the New York City Criminal Court in 1986. He was reappointed to this position in 1987, 1996, 2006, and 2016. Since 1996, he has served in Queens County. He has also worked as an acting supreme court justice since 1998.[1]
