James R. Lemire
James R. Lemire was an associate justice on the Massachusetts Appeals Court. He was appointed to this court in July 2016 by Gov. Charlie Baker (R).[1] He retired from the court in November 2022.[2]
Lemire was previously an associate justice for the Massachusetts Superior Courts.[3] He was nominated to the court by former Governor Mitt Romney in 2006.[4]
Education
Lemire received his undergraduate degree from Assumption College and his J.D. from the New England School of Law.[5]
