James R. Shenko
James R. "Jim" Shenko was a Lee and Collier County judge of the Twentieth Circuit of Florida. He was appointed by former Governor Charlie Crist on April 16, 2008. He replaced William McIver. Shenko ran unopposed and was retained in the August 24, 2010 primary to a six-year term that ended on January 2, 2017.[1][2][3][4]
Education
Shenko received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and his J.D. degree from the Florida State University College of Law.[2]
Career
Shenko worked as a partner of Napier and Shenko and then as a sole practitioner prior to his judicial appointment in 2008.[2]
2010 election
Shenko ran unopposed and was automatically retained to a new term.[3]
