James Rush is the judge of the 244th District Court in Texas.[1] He was sworn into the seat on March 11, 2011. Governor Rick Perry appointed Rush on February 21, 2011 to fill the vacancy left by William Stacy Trotter, who stepped down in January 2011.[2] He was elected in 2012 and re-elected in 2014. His current expires on December 31, 2018.[3]
