James S. Moody III is a judge of the Florida 13th Circuit Court. He assumed office in 2022. His current term ends on January 7, 2031.
Moody won re-election for judge of the Florida 13th Circuit Court outright in the general election on November 5, 2024, after the primary and general election were canceled.
He was appointed to the circuit court on April 14, 2022, by Ron DeSantis to replace Carl C. Hinson.[1]
Biography
James Moody III received his bachelor's and law degrees from the University of Florida. He began his legal career working for the firm of Gibbons Neuman as a personal injury lawyer and continued with the firm of Jayson, Farthing, Skafidas & Wright. His father is James S. Moody and his sister is Ashley B. Moody.[1]
