James "Jim" Sherow was a 2014 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Kansas.[1] He was defeated by incumbent Tim Huelskamp (R) in the general election.[2] He won the nomination in the Democratic primary on August 5, 2014.[3]

Sherow was the former mayor of Manhattan, KS.[4]
