James Splaine
James Splaine (b. August 7, 1947) is a former Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He represented the Rockingham 16 District from 1969-1970, 1973-1978, 1993-1996 and 1999-2010.
Splaine was a senator in the New Hampshire State Senate from 1979-1984. His political experience includes board member for Portsmouth School Board; assistant mayor of Portsmouth; and member of Portsmouth City Council.
On June 9, 2010, Splaine announced he would not be running for re-election.[1]
Biography
Splaine earned a B.A. in political science and Education from the University of New Hampshire and a secondary teaching certificate.[2] Splaine is presently a consultant and owner of excellentworkplaces.com. Splaine has also been an associate manager; owner of 2020-2050 Vision Project-Visioning; director of public relations for New Hampshire Special Olympics; director of the American Cancer Society; and a variety of other professional experiences.

Splaine did not seek re-election to Rockingham 16 in 2010.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Splaine ran for the Rockingham District 16 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, winning the third of seven seats with 7,233 votes.[3]
Splaine raised $100 for his campaign.[4]
