James Standard

James "Jim" Standard is a judge of the Ninth Circuit Court in Illinois. He serves as the Warren County Resident Judge. He was elected on Nov. 6, 2012 for a term that expires in December of 2018.[1][2]
Education
Standard received his J.D. degree from the John Marshall Law School in 1969.[3]
Career
Standard has practiced law since the 1970s. He has worked as a private practice attorney, assistant State's Attorney and public defender.[3][4]
2012 election
Standard was elected without opposition on Nov. 6, 2012. He won the Republican primary on March 20, 2012, defeating James Greg Baber with 52.75% of the vote.[2][1][5]
