James Stewart, Jr.
James Stewart, Jr. (b. September 6, 1951) was a Republican member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 86.
Stewart served as Vice Chair of the Small Business Division of the Aiken Chamber of Commerce in 1995. He then joined the South Carolina House of Representatives in 2003. He served in that position until 2010, representing the 86th District.
Biography
Steward graduated from Aiken High School. He then attended Clemson University.
His professional experience includes working as commercial general contractor.

Elections
2010
Stewart lost to William Taylor in the Republican primary on June 8 by a margin of 2,428-1,805. Stewart was seeking his fifth term.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Stewart won re-election unopposed to the South Carolina House of Representatives with 12,271 votes, representing District 86.
Stewart raised $9,455 for his campaign.[1]
