James T. Campbell is a former justice on the Texas Seventh District Court of Appeals. He served in this position from 2003 to 2019.[1][2]

Justice Campbell received his bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in 1971 and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 1974.[1]

Career

After law school, Justice Campbell joined the Judge Advocate General's Corps, U.S. Navy., serving from 1974 to 1977. He worked at the Pioneer Corporation in Amarillo, Texas, from 1977 to 1986. He then worked in private practice at Peterson Farris Doores & Jones, P.C., Amarillo, Texas, from 1986 to 2003.[1]
