Biography
James Thorne was born in Portland, Maine, and lives in Carmel, Maine.[1][2] Thorne served in the U.S. Air Force from 1983 to 2003. His career experience includes working as the advertising sales manager of Northwoods Sporting Journal, a relocation consultant with Parker K. Bailey/United Van Lines, and a registered Maine Guide. Thorne has been affiliated with the American Legion Post 107, the NRA, B.P.O.E. (Elks) #1954, the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine, Bangor Troop Greeters, and Maine Outdoors.[1][2][3]
