James W. Morgan was a superior court judge for the 27B Judicial District of the Seventh Division of the Superior Court, serving Cleveland and Lincoln counties in North Carolina.[1] Though his final term was to expire in 2018, Morgan retired on December 31, 2014.[2]

Morgan was re-elected after running unopposed.[3]
