James W. Morris (Federal judge)

James Ward Morris (1890-1960) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

He was nominated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on May 23, 1939 to a seat created by 52 Stat. 584. He was confirmed by the Senate on June 15th, and received commission on June 19th. He served until his death on November 15, 1960.[1]
