A strong conservative,I stand for the U.S. Constitution as written. I am Pro-Life, a Disabled Veteran who chose to still help his country. As a D.A.V. I understand the V.A. and wish to help improve it not destroy it. The taxes in California are hurting citizens here. Forcing Businesses to leave or just close, people to loose their homes. I say it is time to stop taxing and look at why they keep raising taxes. I have I feel are great plans for helping the homeless. I also would look forward to dealing with the outdated immigration laws. The wall needs completed and a better system , a smoother system to accept new potential immigrants at our borders. The wall does not stop immigration , but it will stop all kinds of illegal traffic like drugs, Child and female sex trafficking, smuggling guns and other illegal things. I will listen to the voters.

The Homeless are an issue that at times effect family safety. I feel the need to address the laws concerning this. The many zoning laws that effect daily living and the lives of the people in this district. To see an overview of the laws that housing is built and the zoning for them. Less government and more listening to the people who live here.
John Wayne, well he was a great Patriot and loved this country till he died. Then I would say President John F. Kennedy and President Ronald Reagan. Both leaders worked for this United States of American without caring for a party line, they both lead in the directing they felt was for the good of Americans. Sometimes they did not do what their party wanted and I hold that high for the]m an America.
Yes, Read the U.S. Constitution. Take a class or two about it. So many issues and needs would be better covered by those who work and vote on issues when they understand why laws are the way they are. Why Federal judges make ruling the way they do. Sometimes you may wonder if a judge makes a ruling by the law or by a party preference. That is why any ruling can be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court if one side feels it was not adjudicated properly. Even a judge is human and can sometimes allow their personal feeling to make the ruling with. The check and balance is an appeal to a higher court. My philosophy is to always try very hard to make my decision based on facts and law before I say what my position is. Not what others would maybe like to hear. An old saying that I feel will always stay strong. THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE.
Simple answer. We need smaller Government
Honorable as all Marines , honest Christian values . True to my word and will not back down when I know I am right
To be honest with the public and to work on issues, write a bill or co sponsor a bill for the good of the district and the nation. To vote on the bills honestly of my values I promised the voters I would do. To stand firm that the oath of office is to be honored and cherished. I will not play political games, I would be there for my party but first to be true to the voters that put me there.
I was fair to all and worked for the good of the voters in my District and my country.
Landing on the moon, I was 12 years old.
Sack groceries at a local grocery store. I worked there for 4 years. I left it to focus on my school work.
The Bible, oldest living truth.
Uncle Sam - To talk to all Americans and try to get them to see all that is still good here
When I know the facts, I have the proof and I have to listen to lies and can do nothing about it. That is very hard to struggle with
When the House of Representatives really work on issues effecting today the House can really make a difference. There are new issues that come up and The House can when it works together can make a law that really helps.
Yes , however if the house has too many from the ( old school ) they may want to stick with an out dated way of dealing with a new issue. Sometimes a new face from another sector may give information that can bring the matter new ways to take care of the issue that would be better for all parties.
There is a terrible rift in America now. The biggest challenge is to bring our citizens back together. For over two hundred years there was two main parties. Yes there were times they would have a disagreement but could still let each side have a say without attacking them. At the end of the day they could even sit and eat dinner together, today that has been undone. The denial of free speech by one side has truly divided Americans. When anyone and everyone can sit down and work things out again we will have the most unified country in the world. People need to stop hating each other and work together again. We did work together for so many years. First we need to find the cause of this new divide and get it stopped. Then we can work to unite everyone again.
Veterans / V. A. committee
House ways and means committee
Education - School committee From the outside looking in I can say yes. This gives the voters the opportunity to see what the elected official has done for the last two years and see if that person has represented them in the manner they were promised and or if the person has went against them. Did the person work to help their district or just vote party issues and not try to help it's own district needs.
I feel it could be a good thing. I have seen how politicians seem to have gotten rich while in office a long time. I have had several conversations on how voters question how when a Congressman enters office and is not well off, then some years later they are a multi millionaire. I can see how that does not look good when they have not been in office long enough to earn that amount working even at their current pay scale. Term limits could keep everyone from feeling that way anymore.
I would not back away from a committee leader, a chairman of a committee. I am not shy about public speaking and feel I would endeavor to be an asset to any committee.
I have been out knocking on doors to meet voters and talk with them. I want to let them meet me and know who I am and what I stand for. One home I happened to stop and knock at was a wonderful moment for me. I met an African American family and the father opened the door. I introduced myself as a Republican candidate for Congress in the District. The gentleman rolled back and said ( Wait, a Congressman is knocking on my door ? Mr. you have my vote! I informed the very nice man I am only a candidate running for congress and even told the gentleman whom the current Congressman is. His response was , it doesn't matter you came to see me, you got my vote! That was a moment that really made me smile and showed me that my work and effort is worth it all.
