James William Locke (1837-1922) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

He was nominated by President Ulysses Grant on January 15, 1872. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 1, 1872, and received commission that same day.[1] He retired on July 4, 1912.
