- Excerpt: "When our unemployed and under employed neighbors become fully employed and our state receives the increased tax revenue that will significantly contribute to the States income base."

- Excerpt: "While certain basic rules and regulations will always be needed, do we really need several hundred pages simply to regulate a cupcake truck or craft store? What you are doing is insuring that almost anyone who wants to start a business needs to get an attorney, to make sure that they can comply with all of the laws and regulations. This country was founded by individuals who had a vision and hope for a better life. "
