My name is James Wojo Wojey I live in Roscommon MI. and I am married with 4 grown children. I have been a mechanic for most of my career so running for office is new and something I always wanted to do. I enjoy the outdoors with camping, canoeing, fishing and just about anything outside.
  • Education, we need to do more with Career Tech Education (CTE). For the most part this is for high schoolers 11th & 12th grades. I think we should have programs that start earlier to train students to be ready to enter the work force with more than the basic skills.
Students should have a wide variety of exposure to jobs and the requirements to get into entry level jobs.

Not every student is going onto a 4 year university or even a local college. More needs to be done to promote higher education.
  • Unemployment Agency MiWAM for anyone that has ever had to deal with the unemployment agency I don't have to say much. For the rest all I can say there are huge issues with this agency and the lack of communication with people who need problems solved. I hope to be able to make changes to this agency that will benefit anyone that has a claim.
  • Affordable housing/renting more needs to be done to make housing affordable. I do not believe that individuals or corporations should own 100's of houses. The state should have incentives for people to buy, build and own a home.
School funding-seems that voting on mileage's for school improvements is out of date. There should be different way to fund schools in general.
We need people who can reach out to the community and be able bring people together. We should not hear from our elected officials just during election season or a for one hour meet and greets once a year. They should be available through a variety of channels through out the year.
I'm a communicator who is not afraid to ask the hard questions and stand up for what I believe.
To be able to communicate with the public on state wide or local issues.
Just to be remembered as someone that gets the job done.
the oil embargo of 1973, I was only 6 years old but I remember the issues of getting gas.
My first real job was working at Wendy's but only for a few months because we moved.
REO Speedwagon Roll with the changes.
They should have a working relationship and be able to communicate their differences regardless of political affiliation.
Education- The system needs to be turned around. Students are getting out of school without the basic understanding of how things work this has to change.
Yes, the only way to get things done is to work together for a common goal. The division that plagues politics of today has to stop.
Only as a last resort and it should be watched very carefully.
So many issues to choose from I don't know where to start.
Agriculture, Criminal Justice, Education, Elections, Energy, Communication, Technology, Government Operations, Insurance and Financial Services, Natural resources, Environment, Tourism and outdoor Recreation, Tax Policy, Transportation, Mobility, and Infrastructure.
Our elected officials need to be transparent on their finances when it relates to dark money or PAC funding.
