What 3 words come to mind when you think of the school board? Students, Teachers, and Taxpayers. Students are the focus. It is our duty to ensure the best education possible for the future of Nassau County. Teachers are the backbone. Who are we without our strong educators? Taxpayers are the ones who make public schools possible. The Nassau County School Board collects more in property taxes than any other taxing authority. With revenue of over $150 million, I feel you need someone with a business background who knows how to manage a budget. I'm a business leader. I have a deep passion for our students, strong support for our teachers, and the utmost respect for the taxpayers. The school system should not be built on politics, but rather a foundation made up of students, teachers, and taxpayers, focused on a better tomorrow. |
