I am a 15 year resident of Manalapan and am currently raising my three children here. I have been a public school educator in Monmouth County for the past 15 years after leaving a 10 year career in the corporate arena working in project management and as a business analyst for Fortune 500 and major transportation companies.I currently hold leadership positions with local and state education associations including Chair of Pride in NJ Public Education for my district. I'm an active volunteer for local organizations including Let’s Talk Trash Manalapan, St. Thomas More, and JBJ Soul Kitchen.
  • One of the things we’ve recognized is that Manalapan needs representation for ALL of its residents. We believe we can create a more responsive, flexible, and forward thinking Township Committee By bringing some Democratic voices to the table. With a more balanced perspective, we will be able to see what the whole community’s needs really are and begin to meet them. No one has all of the answers to all of the problems our community faces, but viewing the issues from a number of different perspectives (rather than just one) will ultimately lead to better solutions. We hope to be a voice for all residents so that all concerns can be heard.
  • Over the last few years we’ve noticed visible changes within our community: reduced garbage and recycling services, over development, fewer open green areas, and higher taxes, for example. It wasn’t just how things were changing that caught our attention. We also became concerned about how the decisions that brought about these changes had been made. Regardless of the specific problem, we would like to take a different approach. We would examine facts, consult with proven experts, and consider constituent input. No idea would be dismissed just because it was suggested before, and no decision will be made or contract would be signed before public comments were heard and considered. We will push for the trash collection contract to be re-exa
  • We feel that transparency and open communication with constituents is needed to ensure Manalapan continues to be the type of community people have come to expect it to be.
We are longtime residents of Manalapan and moved here for all that Manalapan had to offer: green grass, tranquility, and an excellent school system. We’ve happily raised our families here, content with our decision to relocate here all those years earlier. Then, over the last few years, we’ve noticed changes. Reduced garbage and recycling services, over development, fewer open green areas and higher taxes all caught our attention. We joined our local Democratic Club, gathered more information, got more involved and eventually decided to become Township Committee candidates.

We are in this for everyone. We believe that by working together with the people in our community we can help move Manalapan forward, honoring our individual diversity, while maintaining the very appeal that brought us to Manalapan in the first place. We are running for Township Committee to be a voice for all residents so that all concerns can be heard.
