A proud father of three boys and a business leader for over 20+ years. I'm driven by a mission to end medical debt and ensure every family can access quality treatment, this candidate for State Representative draws upon personal struggles and a commitment to positive change. My story is one of resilience and advocacy, rooted in a deep belief that healthcare is a fundamental right for all.
  • Accessible Healthcare for All: I will work tirelessly to ensure that every individual has access to affordable and quality healthcare, regardless of their income or background. This includes advocating for policies that lower healthcare costs, expand coverage, and address disparities in healthcare access.
  • Affordable Housing Solutions: I believe that everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home. I will prioritize initiatives to increase affordable housing options, combat homelessness, and support policies that promote housing stability and affordability for all members of our community.
  • Quality Public Education: I am committed to strengthening our public education system to provide every child with a high-quality education. This includes advocating for increased funding for schools, reducing class sizes, supporting teachers and educators, and ensuring that every student has access to a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in life.
Healthcare; Authenticity; Affordable Housing; Public Schools
I admire Jimmy Carter for his unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes, his integrity, and his dedication to public service. Despite facing challenges during his presidency, Carter's post-presidential work, particularly through his philanthropic efforts with Habitat for Humanity and his advocacy for peace and human rights, has left a lasting impact. His humility, compassion, and tireless efforts to make the world a better place inspire me to strive for similar values in my own life and work.
Authenticity; Reliability; Empathy; Leadership; Honesty
With over 20 years of experience as a servant leader, I bring a wealth of knowledge and dedication to public service. My commitment to honesty and authenticity ensures that I will always prioritize transparency and integrity in my actions and decisions. Additionally, my passion for progress and forward-thinking mindset drives me to seek innovative solutions and advocate for positive change. These qualities, combined with my track record of servant leadership, make me confident in my ability to be a successful officeholder, dedicated to serving the best interests of my constituents and community.
The core responsibilities of the office include representing constituents' interests & concerns, crafting legislation, ensuring accountability, providing constituent services, fostering collaboration, and engaging with the community.
The legacy I aspire to leave is one of tireless dedication to securing a better future for my children and future generations. I want them to know that I did everything within my power to protect their future and make their lives easier. With an understanding that tomorrow is not promised, I am committed to taking action now, to keep moving forward, and to leave behind a world that is more just, equitable, and sustainable. I want my legacy to inspire others to continue the work of progress and change, ensuring that we leave a positive impact on the world for generations to come.
Captain Picard, from Star Trek, embodies qualities of leadership, integrity, and diplomacy that I deeply admire. His calm demeanor, coupled with his unwavering commitment to justice and equality, makes him an inspiring figure. Picard's ability to navigate complex moral dilemmas with grace and intelligence showcases his strong moral compass and ethical leadership. Additionally, his dedication to exploration, diplomacy, and peaceful conflict resolution resonates with my own values. Picard's character serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration, demonstrating the power of compassion, reason, and empathy in leadership.
Healthcare - losing both my parents at young ages due to cancer and heart disease. I know first-hand the struggles of balancing the bills and medical debt.
It can be helpful - but I love it when everyday folks, like myself - get involved.
Yes, it's nice to know your co-workers. We have to work together to get meaningful change accomplished.
I'm open to represent our community in any manner possible that helps drive progress forward.
I've heard countless stories that tug at the heartstrings, but one, in particular, resonates deeply with me. It's the story of someone who diligently worked their entire life, saving where possible, paying bills on time, and looking forward to retirement. However, a sudden medical diagnosis changed everything. The costs of treatment, while successful, nearly depleted their savings, altering their financial future in retirement. It's a stark reminder of the unfair burden imposed by exorbitant healthcare costs. I often wonder what would have happened if they didn't have access to additional funds for treatment. Would they have received the same level of care? This underscores the urgent need for accessible and affordable healthcare for all.
We still in the endorsement application period.
I believe financial transparency and government accountability are essential pillars of a healthy democracy. It is crucial for elected officials to be transparent about how taxpayer dollars are being spent and to be held accountable for their actions and decisions. This includes providing clear and accessible information about government finances, ensuring that public funds are used responsibly and ethically, and holding officials accountable for any misuse or mismanagement of taxpayer money. Additionally, I support measures to increase transparency in campaign finance, lobbying, and government contracts to prevent corruption and promote integrity in government operations. Ultimately, transparency and accountability are essential for building trust between government and the people it serves, and I am committed to upholding these principles in office.
