Jameson received a bachelor's degree from Murray State University and a J.D. from Northern Kentucky University.[4]

Jameson's professional experience includes working for the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy. He previously headed the Consumer Protection Division of the Kentucky Department of Insurance. He has also taught criminal law as an adjunct professor at Murray State University.[4][5]
