Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney
Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney is a member of the Cincinnati City Council in Ohio. She assumed office on March 18, 2020.
Lemon Kearney ran for re-election to the Cincinnati City Council in Ohio. She won in the general election on November 4, 2025.
Lemon Kearney was appointed by P.G. Sittenfeld on March 11, 2020, to replace former councilmember Tamaya Dennard following her resignation.[1]
Biography
Lemon Kearney was born and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a co-founder and president of Sesh Communications, which publishes The Cincinnati Herald.[2] Lemon Kearney is an attorney by trade and previously worked with the law firm Taft Stettinius & Hollister.[1] She received a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College in 1978 and a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School in 1991.[2]
