Born in San Diego to a family of veterans, small business owners, and community leaders, I grew up learning from leadership in action. A first-generation college graduate, I am no stranger to hard work and adversity. After dedicating myself to my studies and working over 40 hours a week between several jobs, I graduated debt free from the University of Oregon with a BA in Spanish. I worked as a General Counsel and Chief Operations Officer for insurance companies and was an outspoken leader against the disaster of government-run healthcare, appearing regularly on FOX News and Newsmax. Concerned for our state and community, I volunteered as a poll watcher in 2020 and ran for Arizona State Senate in 2022. I am a proud graduate of the Scottsdale Citizen’s Government Academy and the Scottsdale Citizen’s Water Academy and Scottsdale Police Department Citizen’s Academy and a member of the Scottsdale Unified School Board Wellness Committee. My husband and I have a blended family of five children ranging in age from 26-6 years old. We live in DC Ranch with our two youngest daughters.
  • Listen to Residents and Preserve Scottsdale’s Quality of Life

Scottsdale residents need a Council Member who will listen to us and find out what we want for our city and neighborhood. I will answer to the people of Scottsdale, not developers or progressive interests.

You worked hard to live and invest in Scottsdale, and to make this beautiful city your home. Our city has intentionally cultivated a high quality of life from our beautiful buildings, public art, and frequent trash pickups, to our well-planned residential, outdoor, and entertainment areas. I won’t allow that quality of life to be diminished by policies that try to mold Scottsdale into Phoenix or Portland.
  • Protect Scottsdale from Crime and Support Law Enforcement Scottsdale’s quality of life is dependent on protecting public safety and keeping crime at bay. I will oppose policies that are soft on crime, undermine law enforcement, or invite crime into Scottsdale. I will fight for our first responders, support our police and law enforcement, and ensure city planning is compatible with public safety.
  • Oppose Road Diets, Endless Over-Development and Approve Oly High-Caliber Development Scottsdale isn’t Phoenix. We don’t want new high-rise apartments on every block or bike lanes holding up traffic. I will vote against road diets, endless over-development and only support high-caliber projects that will improve the quality of life for residents.

Protect Scottsdale From Crime

Oppose Road Diets, Endless Over-Development and Only Consider High Caliber Development
As a corporate executive and attorney, I am experienced with managing budgets, teams, contract negotiations, legal matters and more. After attending and graduating from the Scottsdale Citizens Government Academy, Scottsdale’s Citizens Water Academy, and the Scottsdale Police Department Citizen’s Academy, I am Council-ready to represent you.
Scottsdale’s greatest challenge would be losing our quality of life and unique character to overdevelopment, out of control traffic, and crime. That’s why I am committed to public safety, reducing traffic, and stopping overdevelopment.

Jan was born in San Diego to a family of veterans, small business owners, and community leaders. A first generation college graduate, Jan is no stranger to hard work and adversity.

Jan worked as General Counsel and Chief Operations Officer for an insurance carrier and began to make a name for herself as an outspoken leader against the disaster of government-run healthcare. She quickly became a staple in conservative media as a leading health care advocate and nationally recognized expert, appearing in Fox News, Fox Business, Newsmax, Cheddar, and OANN.

In 2020, Jan volunteered as a poll watcher where she interacted with many out of state Democratic poll watchers who vowed to turn our beautiful state blue. Driven to action, Jan walked away from her dream career to run for office. In addition, Jan recently volunteered as a counter for the Arizona audit and continues to volunteer as a poll watcher. Jan currently serves our district as Captain of the DC Ranch Precinct where she is also a Precinct Committeeman.

Jan and her husband, Jon, have a blended family with five children ranging from 24 to 5 years old.

Jan is an America First conservative, committed to traditional conservative values and keeping Arizona red.

  • ✓ Securing Arizona’s Border and Communities We need a strong, secure border to keep our communities and neighborhoods safe. Our wishy-washy failing leaders have left our border wide open for drug and human trafficking. The Biden administration - and so many other “leaders” - failure to address the surge at our border has made it infinitely worse. Don’t get me wrong - we want people to come to this country. Our country was founded on immigrants; my grandparents were immigrants. But that’s not what we’re seeing today. Simply put, we need appropriate funding to finish a border wall and better security and surveillance. As your Senator, I will increase funding for our law enforcement so they can enforce the rule of law.
  • ✓ Low-Tax, Low Regulatory Business Environment The great Arizona economic comeback is here. But we need to ensure that our small businesses reopen and stay open, protecting them from unconstitutional lockdowns and tyrannical vaccine mandates. Our economic recovery and growth depends on a low-tax and low regulatory environment. I will fight for you and your business. As your Senator, I will work to keep taxes low, cut burdensome regulation, and protect our small businesses from government interference and unconstitutional mandates.
  • ✓ High-Quality Education Options for Every Arizona Family Education is near and dear to my heart - and the front battle line today in the fight for America. As a public school mom, I know firsthand that we need to ensure every student has access to high-quality education options that best fit their needs, prepares them for the future, and doesn’t indoctrinate our children. But in the best school in our district, only 55% of our students are passing preparedness tests. And in the city of Scottsdale broadly, only 19% are passing. Additionally, the ever-changing policies around masks and quarantine are breaking up kids’ educations and aren’t practical for families. Enough is enough. As your Senator, I will fight for expanded access to schoo
Our Constitution, the foundation of our extraordinary republic starts with the words We The People, yet our government seems to have forgotten about We The People. It is time for our representatives to return to the Constitution, embrace the Rule of Law, and keep our communities, state, and country safe.
