Jana Lynne Sanchez (Democratic Party) ran in a special election to the U.S. House to represent Texas' 6th Congressional District. She lost in the special general election on May 1, 2021.
Biography
Jana Lynne Sanchez was born in Ellis County, Texas. She earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Rice University. Sanchez’s career experience includes working as a political fundraiser, campaign manager, and journalist. She co-founded CitySavvy, a communication consultancy agency. Sanchez served on the Dean's Advisory Board for the School of Social Sciences at Rice University.[1]
