Jane Cairns Murray
Jane Cairns Murray is a judge on the Second Circuit Court for Cecil County in Maryland.[1] She was appointed to the court by Governor Martin O'Malley on September 28, 2011 and has served as a judge since October 17, 2011.[2][3] Murray was most recently elected to a full fifteen-year term in November 2012.[4]
Education
Murray received her undergraduate degree from the College of Wooster in 1982 and her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1987.[3]

2012 election
Murray ran unopposed for her appointed seat on the Second Circuit Court.[6] Murray was successful in her bid, receiving 48.9% of the vote; the two judges with the highest vote percentages were elected in the race.[7][8]
