Campaign website

Davis' campaign website stated the following:

JUSTICE & FAIRNESS

Jane Davis believes that upholding the law is paramount. The District Attorney’s Office must seek justice fairly and consistently, while safeguarding constitutional requirements, including due process and probable cause.

Justice must be applied with integrity, professionalism, and respect for the rule of law—without shortcuts and without politics.

VICTIM SUPPORT

Protecting victims of crime is a core responsibility of the District Attorney’s Office. Jane believes prosecutors must work professionally and respectfully with victims while pursuing justice responsibly.

Public safety is strongest when victims are treated with dignity and the justice system functions with accountability and care.

COLLABORATION WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT

Effective public safety depends on strong, professional relationships between law enforcement and prosecutors. Jane supports an efficient, respectful, and honest working relationship between law enforcement agencies and the District Attorney’s Office.

Clear communication and mutual respect strengthen cases and better protect the community.

DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE

A strong District Attorney’s Office begins with leadership. Jane Davis will focus on restoring morale, improving efficiency, and ensuring the office is a professional and respected place to work.

She believes in strengthening staffing, training, and technology so prosecutors have the tools they need to do their jobs well and serve the public effectively.

THOUGHTFUL REFORM

Jane believes improvement can be made within the criminal justice system where it strengthens the protection of the community. She is familiar with research on recidivism, criminogenic factors, and rehabilitation, and believes those considerations should inform decision-making.

At the same time, accountability matters. Jane believes proper sentences must be imposed on those who are incorrigible. Reform must be balanced, evidence-informed, and focused on public safety.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY

Jane Davis believes the District Attorney’s Office must be managed efficiently and responsibly. Public resources should be used wisely, transparently, and in ways that support effective prosecution and public safety.

Responsible operations are essential to maintaining public trust and ensuring the office functions as it should.
