Jane Margaret Davis
Jane Margaret Davis was a judge on the Summit County Court of Common Pleas General Division in Akron, Ohio. She was appointed to the court by Governor John Kasich in June 2013 to fill the vacancy created by the election of Judge Elinore Marsh Stormer to the probate division of the Summit County Court of Common Pleas.[1] Davis assumed the bench on July 8, 2013.[2] Davis filed for re-election to the Summit County Court of Common Pleas General Division in 2014, but dropped out of the race in August. She stepped down from the bench after a new judge was elected in 2014.[3]

Education
Davis received her B.A. in economics and her M.A. in industrial relations from the University of Cincinnati. She received her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law.[2]
Career
Before her appointment to the court, Davis worked as an attorney in her solo practice since 2005. She has also served as a magistrate for the Stark County Court of Common Pleas.[2]
