Janet Boes

Janet Boes is a judge of the 10th Circuit Court in Michigan. She was appointed to this position by former Governor Jennifer Granholm on August 22, 2008 to replace retired judge Lynda Heathscott.[1] Her term expired on January 1, 2019.[2]
Education
Boes received her bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo and her J.D. degree from the University of Toledo School of Law.[1]
Career
Before joining the court, Boes worked as assistant prosecuting attorney in Saginaw County. Prior to that, she was in private practice with the law firm of Braun Kendrick Finkbeiner P.L.C.[1]

Boes was re-elected after running unopposed in 2012.[3][4]
2010 election
Boes was elected to her appointed seat without opposition in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]
