Janet Townsley
Janet Townsley was a judicial candidate for Texas District 152 in 2012.
Education
Townsley received her undergraduate degree from Texas Women's University and her J.D. from University of Houston Law School.[1]
Career
At the time of her candidacy, Townsley practiced out of the firm Hailey, McNamara, Hall, Larmann & Papale, L.L.P. Previously, she was General Counsel for Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, Inc. Townsley has also worked at private firms, such as Giessel, Stone, Barker, & Lyman and Phillips, Akers, & Womac.[1]
2012 election
Townsley ran for election to the 152nd District Court. She competed against fellow Republican Don Self in the primary runoff on July 31, 2012, where she was defeated.[2] Don Self faced incumbent Robert Schaffer in the November 6 general election, where Self was defeated.
