Janette Kay Rodecap
Janette Kay Rodecap is a judge for Division 29 of the Missouri 16th Judicial Circuit Court Associate Judge. She assumed office in 2014. Her current term ends on December 31, 2028.
Rodecap ran for re-election for the Division 29 judge of the Missouri 16th Judicial Circuit Court Associate Judge. She won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
She was appointed to the court by Governor Jay Nixon on May 28, 2014. Rodecap filled the vacancy created by the death of Judge Margaret L. Sauer.[1]
Education
Rodecap received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in 1997 and her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2001.[2]
Career
Before her appointment to the 16th Circuit Court, Rodecap served as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office.[2]

The filing deadline for those wishing to run in the primary was March 29, 2016.
