Janice Crosby Stone is a judge for the Cherokee County Court at Law in Texas. She was elected in 2014, effective January 1, 2015, for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[1]

Stone ran for election to the Cherokee County Court at Law.
Primary: She was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 36.6 percent of the vote. She competed against Kelley D. Peacock and Daniel Boone Childs.
Runoff: Because no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, Stone faced Peacock in a runoff election on May 27, 2014. Stone won, earning 57.1% of the vote.
General: She won without opposition in the general election on November 4, 2014. [1][2]
