Janice R. McDonald was a member of the Cherry Creek Board of Education in Colorado, representing District B. McDonald assumed office in 2015. McDonald left office on December 1, 2023.

Biography
McDonald earned an associate degree in early childhood education and a B.A. in business management. Her professional experience includes teaching early childhood education for Head Start in Denver and pre-School and pre-kindergarten classes for the City of Aurora Parks and Recreation. McDonald also worked for Cherry Creek district for 24 years at two schools and spent time volunteering in the district.[2]

2015
Three of the five seats on the Cherry Creek Board of Education were up for election on November 3, 2015. Seats in Districts A, B, and C were on the general election ballot.
Eric Parish was the lone candidate to file for the District A seat with incumbent Jim O'Brien unable to run for re-election due to term limits. David Aarestad, Matt Batcho, Vince Chowdhury, and Janice R. McDonald were running to replace the term-limited Claudine McDonald in District B. Dave Willman was unopposed in his re-election bid in District C.[1][3][4] Parish and Willman, being unopposed, won the District A and C seats, respectively. In District B, McDonald was successful in securing the seat.
