Janis Whitener-Moberg is the presiding judge for the Grant County District Court in Grant County, Washington.[1] She was first elected in 1990 and was re-elected by voters in 2014.[2][3]  Her four-year term expired on January 6, 2019.[4]

Whitener-Moberg was the first woman to be elected judge in Grant County.[5]

Prior to joining the court in 1990, Whitener-Moberg was an attorney in private practice.[7]
