January 23, 2018 ballot measures in California
Two ballot measures went before voters in Los Angeles County on January 23, 2018. Measures C and I were competing measures related to marijuana business regulation in the city of Compton. Measure I was placed on the ballot through a successful voter initiative petition campaign. Measure C was placed on the ballot through a 4-1 vote of the Compton City Council. Compton voters rejected both measures.
