Jared C. Bennett is a magistrate judge of the United States District Court for the District of Utah. He assumed office on June 1, 2020.

Education

Bennett received his J.D. from the University of Utah College of Law in 2001, where he graduated Order of the Coif. He also earned a master of public administration (M.P.A.) from the University of Utah.[1]

Before joining the U.S. attorney's office, Bennett was a law clerk for Judge Pamela Greenwood of the Utah Court of Appeals.[2] In 2002, he began working as an Honor’s Program attorney for the Solicitor’s Office in United States Department of the Interior.[1]
