I am a lifelong resident of Raleigh, District – C and I understand the importance of maintaining a strong, equitable, and diverse community. I am the single father of two college students. You can find me volunteering with and supporting various charities in my community. I am a United States Air Force veteran and a career law enforcement officer with a wide range of professional experiences. I previously led the largest division of the Wake County Sheriff’s Office as the Director of Detention Services. I am a dedicated public servant, and I would like to meet with, work with, and hear from you.
  • I am running for Raleigh City Council, District C as a concerned citizen, not as a politician. Politicians tell citizens anything they want to hear, concerned citizens roll their sleeves up and get the work done. Remember me, the concerned citizen!
  • This election is about correcting gentrification, a rise in crime, homelessness, and a lack of affordable housing and mental health resources. We must work together to correct these key issues if we are to progress as a community.
  • The citizens of District C deserve a city council representative who will vote their will. They deserve a representative who will make every effort to meet with them and share information while accepting feedback. The citizens of District C deserve a representative that will fight for their community. The citizens of District C deserve to be represented by me!
I am passionate about all areas of public policy. I also have a master's degree in public policy and public administration.
I believe it is vital that the person elected to this office should be responsible to the people of this community and be available to listen to their concerns. This person must be absolutely transparent and open to criticism and correction by the people he or she represents. This person should vote the will of the people in their district.
I would like to leave a legacy of honest and good works that benefitted the citizens in my district.
The space shuttle, Challenger tragically broke apart approximately one minute after takeoff in 1986 killing all seven crew members. I was ten years old at the time
My first job was a military police officer in the United States Air Force, a job I held for four years when I was honorably discharged.
I have been endorsed by Dr. Dudley Flood, retired Associate Superintendent, North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. I have also been endorsed by the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association.
