I have also earned two master's degrees in ministry, and am beginning my dissertation to earn a Doctorate in the area of Advanced Leadership/Ministry.Recently turning 50 years old, I am running for state office in my legislative district, representing the northeast side of Albuquerque. I pride myself in being moderate in my views, with an appeal to the all-important independent vote.
- My past 10 years have consisted of leading and regularly speaking-to ultra-conservatives and progressive liberals, under the same roof. This unique experience has equipped me to appeal well to the moderate/independent, without turning off the extremes.
- My generation wants to see the two polarized extremes work together and find compromise for the majority. I believe that I can be a bridge in these efforts.
- When voting in the June 4th Republican primary, keep in mind that I can beat the Democrat, while my opponents extreme views will not give her much of a chance.
