Jason Alexander Roberge
Jason Alexander Roberge (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Virginia's 7th Congressional District. He lost in the Republican convention on July 18, 2020.
Roberge was late to submit the necessary paperwork to appear on the general election ballot. His campaign submitted the paperwork after the deadline on June 9, 2020. On July 7, 2020, the Virginia Department of Elections decided that Roberge, along with seven other candidates, should be granted the extension and the submitted paperwork was accepted.[1][2]
Biography
Roberge earned a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts, an M.B.A. from Fitchburg State University, and a J.D. from the University of Massachusetts. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 2003 to 2009.[3]
