Jason Atkinson
Jason Atkinson (Republican Party) was a member of the Oregon State Senate, representing District 2. He assumed office in 2001. He left office in 2013.
Atkinson (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Oregon's 2nd Congressional District. He lost in the Republican primary on May 19, 2020.
Atkinson is a former Republican member of the Oregon State Senate, representing District 2 from 2000 to 2013.
Atkinson served in the Oregon House of Representatives from 1999 to 2001. While in the state House, Atkinson served as the deputy majority leader from 1998 to 2000. He was also a candidate for governor of Oregon in 2006.
Biography
Atkinson (b. November 6, 1970) earned his B.S. from Southern Oregon State College in 1992 and his Master's in Management from Williamette University in 1997. His professional experience includes working as the director of a ski school, as a Radio Talk Show Producer/Personality and as a Management Consultant and founder of Allmand Tree Creative.

On November 4, 2008, Atkinson was re-elected to the 2nd District Seat in the Oregon State Senate, besting Richard Koopmans (D).[1][2] Atkinson raised $111,176 for his campaign, while Koopmans did not raise any money.[3]

Elections for the office of Oregon State Senate consisted of a primary election on May 18, 2004, and a general election on November 2, 2004.[4] Jason Atkinson ran unopposed for District 2 in the Republican primary. He was also unopposed in the general election.[5][6]
