Jason Dimitris is a judge of the Florida 11th Circuit Court. He assumed office in 2017. His current term ends on January 7, 2031.
Dimitris won re-election for judge of the Florida 11th Circuit Court outright in the general election on November 5, 2024, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Dimitris was appointed by Gov. Rick Scott (R) on April 12, 2017, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Victoria R. Brennan.[1]
Biography
Dimitris received his undergraduate degree from Rollins College and his J.D. from Stetson University.[2]
Dimitris' professional experience includes work as the general counsel for the Florida Department of Management Services, the chief of staff for the Florida Department of Children and Families, an assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida, an assistant statewide prosecutor for the Florida Office of Statewide Prosecution, and an assistant state attorney for the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney.[2]
