|- Public education is a bedrock institution in a democracy. It’s our duty to ensure that all kids have the opportunity to obtain a vigorous education. One that will help prepare them to be functioning and involved citizens throughout their life.
- For years now, the discussion around the importance of mental health has become commonplace in communities throughout the district. In conversations with providers and stakeholders within this field, support for the work they do is imperative to the overall wellbeing of citizens within the district, and across the state.
- The pandemic exposed many of the inequalities that exist within communities regarding affordable housing options for individuals in every community within the district. There is a severe dichotomy between the living wage needed to support individuals and their families, and the average salary, home prices, and rent prices within those communities.
