I am the proud father of three amazing and caring children, a loving and loyal companion to the love of my life, a successful construction manager, and one pissed off Illinois resident!

Springfield is BROKEN and I want to help FIX IT!

We need someone, like myself, who is willing to fight for COMMON SENSE! We need to get our government back to the basic foundation in which it was created. WE THE PEOPLE have sacrificed enough, it’s time for the government to make the necessary changes to “live within their means”!

We need someone who will support the women and men of law enforcement as they are the ones who keep our communities and streets safe!

  • Ending the culture of corruption in Illinois.
  • Safer streets and communities.
  • Fiscal leadership with real solutions.
I want to tackle government inefficiencies by eliminating wasteful government spending. We need to require a responsible and balanced budget based off of 90% of the prior fiscal year’s gross revenues, leaving 10% for errors and omissions. One of the causes of Illinois’ fiscal chaos is the lack of transparency in the budgeting process. All spending bills should be thoroughly vetted in both chambers with a mandatory time for public comment.
My parents! Without them I wouldn’t be the person I am today!
Honesty, integrity, humility, courage and compassion.
Create a balanced budget, pass legislation by researching and writing sound bills, and perform oversight of the executive branch.
I remember the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. I was six years old when that happened. I remember traveling to Berlin, Germany with my family a year or two later and seeing it first hand. What a memory spark Ballotpedia!
I earned my first paycheck detasseling corn while in grade school.
Legislatures are separate, co-equal branches that share governmental power. The legislative branch must balance the power of governors and the executive branch. A good legislature must be relatively independent of the governor. It must insist on participating in the initiation of policy and refuse to rubber-stamp executive proposals.
Tackling the pension crisis! People in Illinois are realizing they are “Off the Hook” for the pension liabilities by simply packing their things up and leaving the state…and that is exactly what they are doing!
Look at the state of the State of Illinois. Democrat supermajority in both chambers of the legislature and the Governor’s office!

Need I say more?
Yes! Legislatures are elected to do a job, and team work makes the dream work!
I favor an independent advisory commission to propose new legislative districts and boundaries for the legislature to debate and vote on and approve.
I’d love the opportunity to be a part of the following committees:

-Revenue and Finance
-Labor and Commerce

-Mental Health and Addiction
Jeanne Ives! She wasn’t afraid to standup and fight for what was right and wrong, even if it meant taking on leadership in her own party! A true leader!
Every single conversation I have had with voters this far has been impactful! They are reaffirming the reason I threw my hat into the ring!

Enough is enough!
Emergency powers are for emergencies only and should be short term solutions the executive branch can take to respond to a particular situation. Running a state by executive order and emergency proclamations is the exact government our founding father’s warned us about when they wrote the Declaration of Independence.
Absolutely! We will never agree on every issue or bill which is brought to the floor, but allowing time for such things to be thoroughly vetted in both chambers with ample time for public comment is the best path forward.

The one party control has done nothing but disenfranchise the minority party!
