Education, taxes, healthcare

Education because it is the base of everything you build a life upon.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

My father.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Open mindedness. Accessibility.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

Able to manage people and personalities. My ability to consider all possibilities and sides.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

To listen to their constituents.

What legacy would you like to leave?

One that made Central and Southern Campbell County Kentucky a better place.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

Subway Sandwhich Artist. A year.

What is your favorite holiday? Why?

I like Christmas most. Bc of being around family and watching my kids eyes light up.

What is your favorite thing in your home or apartment? Why?

My kids. Bc they give me so much joy and a reason to be better.

What was the last song that got stuck in your head?

A song by my friend Chris Egan (The Salesman) called Kevin the Frustrated Ocelot.

Do you believe that it’s beneficial for state legislators to have previous experience in government or politics?

I think there'll be a learning curve.

What do you perceive to be your state’s greatest challenges over the next decade?

Healthcare and getting our tax code under control.
