I’m Jason Krueger, a life-long Nebraskan and a local small-business owner. I grew up in Hebron, Nebraska, and served in the U.S. Army.

My army experience informed my life and I still remember learning the dangers of fraud, waste, and abuse and how they can hurt people and organizations. I also developed my desire to serve the needs of my neighbors while I was in the military.

The primary reasons that I am running are to serve my community and to protect the future of our families.
  • Correctly identifying the problems of the county and how to address them must be a top priority. Providing safety and security for Lancaster County residents will be my first priority. This means supporting the budget of our County Engineer to ensure infrastructure development and improvement. Taxpayers have already paid millions of dollars for roads and bridges that they can’t even use. Infrastructure is important to economic growth and to the general welfare of the residents of Lancaster County.
  • I am a blue-collar business owner that works with the people of the county everyday. I see the effect of economic uncertainty in real time in my business and for my customers, and I know how county board decisions impact the ability of the working man or woman to feed their families and pay their employees.
  • My stronger attributes include integrity, honesty, follow-thru, willingness to listen to different perspectives, generosity, and common sense. I have a strong willingness to serve that I showed in the military and that I will bring to the board. I pride myself on doing what I say I will do and I don't cut corners. I see a job through to the end. I feel that I don’t have to know all of the answers myself and can take the input and criticism of others to help me reach good decisions. I am a giving person, both of my time and resources and support numerous charities in the community, and I serve in a variety of community groups. I’m thankful that my life experience has given me discernment in my daily life.
I believe modern, Twenty-first Century infrastructure must meet the needs of our growing population and provide for safe travel and prosperous living

I’m committed to the proven principles that build communities: vital infrastructures like roads and bridges, sufficient and trained law enforcement, and the proper prioritizing of these above the funding of pet projects of outside interests. I am not putting political ambitions over listening to what the people of the county want.
