Jason Lavoie was a Republican candidate for District 61 of the Maine House of Representatives. Lavoie withdrew from the race and changed his party affiliation to Democratic, according to the Sun Journal.[1] Because Lavoie dropped out of the race after the official withdrawal date, his name still appeared on the primary ballot. His name did not appear on the general election ballot.
