Jason Litalien is an attorney, U.S. Air Force veteran, and small business owner hoping to represent Maine Senate District 32. He was born and raised in Biddeford and continues to live and work there, maintaining strong ties to the community he seeks to serve.

He is the founder of Litalien Law, where his practice focuses on real estate, probate, estate planning, and business. His legal work routinely involves Maine statutes, regulatory compliance, and court procedures, providing him with direct experience in how state policy affects individuals, families, and small businesses.

Through his practice, he has worked with homeowners, tenants, entrepreneurs, and investors navigating housing affordability, taxation, and regulatory requirements.

Before entering the legal profession, Litalien served in the United States Air Force. His military service shaped his views on leadership, accountability, and public service, and continues to inform his approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

He has worked with both local and out-of-state businesses and understands the importance of balancing economic growth with community stability. His professional background has given him insight into how tax policy, regulation, and workforce issues affect Maine’s economy.

Litalien supports transparent government, responsible use of taxpayer funds, and policies that prioritize affordability, education reform, and economic opportunity for Maine residents.
  • Affordability & Housing.

Maine families are being priced out of the communities they grew up in. Rising housing costs, property taxes, and energy prices are making it harder for working people, seniors, and young families to stay in District 32.

With professional experience in real estate and housing matters, Jason supports policies that responsibly expand housing supply, reduce unnecessary regulatory barriers, and encourage smart development—while protecting existing neighborhoods. His focus is on common sense solutions that increase affordability without shifting additional costs onto taxpayers or renters.
  • Fiscal Responsibility & Tax Reform. Maine’s tax burden continues to grow while residents struggle to keep up with everyday expenses. Jason believes government should be accountable to taxpayers and focused on delivering measurable value. Drawing on his experience as a small business owner and attorney, he supports tax policies that are predictable, fair, and designed to encourage people and businesses to remain in Maine. He emphasizes smarter use of public funds, long-term budgeting discipline, and transparency in how tax dollars are collected and spent.
  • Service, Accountability & Local Representation. As a Biddeford native and U.S. Air Force veteran, Jason brings a service-oriented mindset to public office. He believes elected officials should be accessible, responsive, and grounded in the communities they represent. His background in law and military service has shaped his approach to leadership, emphasizing accountability, clear decision-making, and respect for the rule of law. He is committed to representing Senate District 32 with integrity and a focus on practical, local solutions.
Jason is passionate about public policies that make Maine more affordable, accountable, and sustainable for working families.

Through his work as an attorney and small business owner, he has seen how housing shortages, rising taxes, and regulatory complexity increase costs and limit opportunity. He supports responsible expansion of housing supply, smarter land-use policies, and tax reforms that reduce unnecessary burdens while protecting essential services.

As a U.S. Air Force veteran, I believe in transparent government, fiscal discipline, and leaders who are accountable to the people they serve. Effective policy should strengthen communities, respect property rights, and ensure Maine remains a place where residents can stay.
