|Like many millennials, I have worked a spectrum of jobs in my life. From selling consumer electronics and coffee, to helping utility companies better manage their resources. Over the last thirteen years, I have leveraged my love of entrepreneurship with my passion for helping others. Most recently I’ve begun raising capital to invest in the futures of women, people of color, and LGBTQ folks as they embark on their own entrepreneurial journeys.
I made the decision to run, in addition to not being satisfied with our district’s current representation, because my lived experience as a gay person of color has taught me that each and every one of us deserves a chance.
- As someone who knows what it means to struggle in the face of poverty, racism, homophobia and systemic injustice – and who has tackled adversity head on by empowering others – I’m eager to be our advocate on Beacon Hill and a voice for our most vulnerable members in our community.
- As an entrepreneur who has worked to bring women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ founders into the business world, I have experience building connections with a wide range of people.
- I will work to push for progressive change but also ensure voters' real life needs are met.
