Jason Meche is a judge for the 27th Judicial District in Louisiana. Meche was elected on November 7, 2014, to a term that expires December 31, 2020.[1][2]

Primary: He was elected in the primary on November 4, 2014, receiving 69.1 percent of the vote. He competed against Francis A. Olivier.

Education

Meche received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern State University in 1996, and his J.D. from Louisiana State University in 1999.[3]

Career

Before being elected to his judgeship, Meche was an attorney for the Village of Cankton, Greenbriar-Prairie Basse Water Corporation, Cankton Volunteer Fire Department and Coulee Croche Fire District Number 4.[3]
