Two seats on the Deer Park Independent School District school board were scheduled for general election on May 6, 2017. However, the election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Board incumbents Brenda Cothran and Jason Morris were automatically re-elected.[1]

The general election on May 9, 2015, in the Deer Park Independent School District featured four seats up for election. The seats of Position 1 incumbent Rhonda Leigh Lowe, Position 2 incumbent Albert Lee Giddens, and Position 3 incumbent Ryan Taylor were up for election, in addition to a special election for the Position 6 seat held by Jason Morris. Lowe, Giddens and Taylor were all running unopposed, while Morris defeated challenger Barbara Garcia.
